FULL CHARGE BOOKKEEPER

Job Description

​

  • Vendor bill posting/accounts payable

  • Sales journal entries/Customer invoicing

  • Categorizing/recording all transactions from bank feeds

  • Account reconciliation

  • Misc journal entries

  • Payroll processing

  • Preparation of financial reports

  • Sales tax filings

  • Data conversion to QBO from other programs

  • Client onboarding

  • Customer relations

Qualifications

​

  • Candidates must possess excellent organizational skills & strong communication skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or other business-related fields preferred

  • Minimum 2 years experience in bookkeeping

  • Experience with QuickBooks Online is mandatory

  • Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor preferred

  • Knowledge of MS Office, including Excel

  • Thorough knowledge of GAAP, accrual, and cash basis accounting

  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines

  • Attention to detail & accuracy is a must!

  • Strong math aptitude & ability to work accurately with numbers

  • High-speed internet access

  • Ability to work independently

  • Experience in a virtual/remote position is a plus

Work Environment

​

This is primarily a remote position, with occasional in-person meetings. Candidates must possess a quiet workspace with reliable internet access.
