TMA Bookkeeper

Smarter Bookkeeping. Less Manual Work.

TMA Bookkeeper is an accounting automation platform developed by Top Marks Accounting to streamline day-to-day bookkeeping workflows. The application helps securely process accounting documents, organize financial information, reconcile vendor activity, and integrate approved transactions with QuickBooks Online.

Built for accuracy, visibility, and control, TMA Bookkeeper combines automation with human review so routine bookkeeping can move faster while exceptions receive the attention they need.

Built for Modern Bookkeeping

Automated A/P

Bills received by email can be securely identified, extracted, coded, reviewed, and prepared for QuickBooks Online. Routine transactions can be automated while exceptions are routed for review.

Vendor Statement Reconciliation

Vendor statements can be compared against QuickBooks to identify missing invoices, balance discrepancies, payments, credits, and other items requiring attention.

Connected Accounting

TMA Bookkeeper connects with QuickBooks Online and uses client-specific controls, audit history, validation, and security safeguards to keep accounting activity organized and traceable.

Designed for Accounting Accuracy

TMA Bookkeeper is built around the way professional bookkeeping is actually performed. The application maintains source documents, preserves transaction history, validates accounting information, and provides clear visibility into what requires review and what has been completed.

Automation is designed to support—not bypass—important accounting controls. Client data remains separated by company, uncertain transactions are held for review, and activity performed through the application is recorded for auditability.

Key Capabilities

A/P Automation

Process vendor invoices, extract bill details, apply accounting coding, detect duplicates, preserve attachments, and integrate approved bills with QuickBooks Online.

Exception-Based Review

Routine transactions can move through automated workflows while transactions involving uncertainty, duplicate risk, incorrect client ownership, or other exceptions are held for review.

Email Intake

Client-specific email aliases allow authorized Top Marks Accounting personnel to forward accounting documents directly into the appropriate client's bookkeeping workflow.

Audit & Visibility

Maintain source documents, posting history, reconciliation results, transaction references, and application activity for greater transparency and accountability.

Vendor Statement Review

Compare vendor statements to QuickBooks records and quickly identify missing invoices, open-item differences, balance discrepancies, credits, and timing issues.

Security by Design

TMA Bookkeeper uses encrypted connection credentials, company-level data separation, attachment validation, controlled email access, and fail-closed accounting rules.
